Here's an extended family of Raku Polar bears. They vary in size, from between 5 and 10cm in length. Each bear has an Inuit name, with a rough English translation for those like me that can not pronounce the ancient tongue.

They range between £40 and £60 each, with free postage within the British Isles.

The Polars bears and Penguins are handmade, glazed in a Raku Tin glaze, fired to 1000º degrees and then smoked in a carbonising chamber before being plunged into a cold bath of water and scrubbed. I have made ninety-five of each but they are all different as you can see from the photos.
